Mirza Abbas admitted to Singapore General Hospital

BNP Health Secretary Rafiqul Islam told reporters this information on Sunday afternoon. He said that Mirza Abbas reached Singapore safely after a three-and-a-half-hour journey by air ambulance. He was quickly taken to Singapore General Hospital by ambulance from the airport.
Stating that doctors at Singapore General Hospital had seen Mirza Abbas, Rafiqul Islam said that he had no problems during the three-and-a-half-hour journey and that he was safe.
Earlier, the air ambulance carrying Mirza Abbas left Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Singapore at around 11:30 am.
Mirza Abbas, 75, was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital after he fell ill during Iftar on Wednesday and lost consciousness. Later, he was treated under the supervision of a medical board consisting of neurologists. He underwent brain surgery on Friday. After the surgery, which lasted about four and a half hours, he was shifted to the ICU at night. From there, he was taken to Singapore today.
